Safe Engine Cut-Off (SECO)

SECO allows remote disabling of a vehicle engine through the XP1 output.

caution

Always test SECO in a controlled, stationary environment before deploying on a live vehicle.

Requirements​

  • XP1 output wired to vehicle relay in ignition circuit
  • See Installation for wiring diagrams

Signals​

Monitoring SECO Events​

>SED60NA0;G01+<    <- Report when engine is cut
>SED61NA0;G01-<    <- Report when engine is restored
>SED62NA0;G00+<    <- Report when SECO is armed

Notes​

  • SECO waits for vehicle speed < 10 mph for 20 seconds before activating.
  • The relay remains in cut position across power cycles until explicitly restored.
