RT — Reset

Resets the device or clears its configuration.

Format

  • Reset device: >SRT<
  • Reset configuration: >SRT;CONFIG<

>SRT<Soft reset — restarts the application
>SRT;CONFIG<Configuration reset — clears all events, regions, speeds, etc., then restarts

Soft reset:

Configuration reset (factory defaults):

>SRT;CONFIG<

>SRT;CONFIG< deletes all configured events, regions, speed limits, time/distance rules, destination addresses, and extended tags. This action cannot be undone.

Notes

  • The device sends a startup report (G03 signal) after every reset.
  • All database-persisted settings survive a soft reset (>SRT<).
  • Only configuration reset clears the GDBM databases.
  • G03 — SIGNAL_APP_RESTARTED — fires after any reset
